Waffles with Chicken

Ingredients

2 kg chicken thigh pieces

3 ½ cups plain flour

Canola oil for frying

Waffles to serve

Marinade:

2 cups Araliya coconut milk

½ cup greek yoghurt

3 tbsp fish sauce

2 tsp garlic powder

2 tsp paprika

2 tsp Araliya chilli powder 

Preparation

STEP 1
Mix the chicken with the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Refrigerate over night.

STEP 2
For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat. When the butter is melting, stir the honey and the Araliya chilli sauce. Simmer for another until. Then remove and set aside. Re-heat when ready to serve.

 

STEP 4
Heat oil in a large frying pan to deep fry the chicken. When the oil is hot enough, coat the chicken in flour and then deep fry the chicken. Fry, for about 5 minutes or until the chicken is golden brown. 

 

STEP 5
Serve the fried Chicken on waffles and pour over the hot chilli sauce.
